For routes from San Francisco and Southern Marin, we will be using Kidzjet 9-passenger vans and a 48 passenger bus from Michael’s Transportation from Berkeley.  Due to strict Covid-19 protocols, drivers and all students must complete a wellness check each morning before boarding the vehicles and wear a face mask at all times.  Windows will be open when possible.  Vehicles will be disinfected prior to boarding and after students leave the vehicles.  Students will sit in alternating rows and one to a bench on the bus.  On the vans, students will sit in every other seat though siblings may sit next to each other.  Note: this will likely require us to employ additional  vehicles to safely transport students to and from school and will proportionally increase the cost of service.  As such, we are only pricing the cost of service for Q3, 2021.  Pricing will be adjusted in subsequent quarters as safety requirements associated with Covid-19 are updated, modified, and/or relaxed.

In an effort to encourage this service and reduce the number of vehicles coming to campus, we will be subsidizing over 50% of the cost for vans and 100% for buses. The cost for the services are listed below.  Freshmen who receive tuition assistance will receive the same percentage applied to the cost of the service they are using.   Returning students using the service from Oakland or Berkeley will not be charged.  Bus/van service will begin on the first day of in person classes, January 21.
